It might just be the case that the preparation time-under-ten-minutes-mix-everything-in-a-bowl recipes have something to do with the fact that it’s already the end of the semester and I’m in the middle of deadlines and exams.
This recipe is everything you could wish for in this kind of situation: the ingredients are measured and mixed within one minute, it gives minimal washing-up and the cake is ready before you know it. And did I mention it involves chocolate?

Mix in a mug 3 tbsp of flour, 3 tbps of sugar, 1,5 tbsp of cocoa powder, 1 tsp of vanilla sugar, 3 tbsp of oil and an egg.
Put the mug in the microwave and heat for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. At that moment the cake is slightly above your mug, this is quite normal and, unfortunately for the photo, it will quickly sink a little bit.
As the original recipe also says, you can add every kind of supplement you like to this batter, ranging from raisins to chocolate chips.
