Tomato mozzarella basil salad.
This post isn’t really a recipe, but that’s just one more reason why you should make it. Not every incredible dish needs a long list of ingredients or hours of slaving away in the kitchen. The only things you’ll need for this salad are ingredients of really high quality and some patience for placing all the tomato and mozzarella slices on the plate. Get your booty to the farmers market and turn those ingredients into this vibrant colored salad within a couple of minutes.
Slice some ripe tomatoes into slices, do the same with some nice pieces of buffalo mozzarella* and place them one on one onto a plate. Sprinkle with salt and lots of fresh pepper. Place a couple of vibrant green basil leaves on top and drizzle a good amount of olive oil on this colorful feast. Enjoy.

Um, yum. I haven’t had buffalo mozzarella in years! This brings back some good memories.
Stunning. I made one for ‘the masses’ at a party once- everyone loves this salad. So summery! Check it out:
